Big and blue
With an Earth-sized storm
Ideal to gaze at from its moon Triton, where icy geysers will burst at any time
Taking its name from the Roman god of the sea, Neptune is a beautiful blue world that you cannot miss visiting.
Sunlight needs 4 hours to travel to Neptune, and this ice giant is very dense. It is the windiest world in our neighborhood.
Since it does not have a solid surface, there is nowhere you can land on, but Neptune still makes an interesting place to visit.
Reminiscent of Jupiter's Great Red Spot, Neptune has its own giant storm, called the Great Dark Spot, that makes the most interesting sight.
See the beautiful Neptunian clouds, you can even enjoy resembling them to objects while flying overhead the Great Dark Spot.
Going down south, you can see The Small Dark Spot, also called the Wizard's Eye, a beautiful view.
In the colored picture, it is at the bottom:
The main rings of Neptune—Galle, Leverrier, Lassell, Arago, and Adams— are also a view to see.
